To begin this recipe, you will first need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out a cake pan, and line it with buttered wax paper. Next arrange the graham cracker pieces on the greased wax paper. Moving along, next take out a small saucepan, and add in the butter and brown sugar, bringing these contents to a boil over medium high heat. Next add in the crushed cashews, liquid vanilla extract, and butterscotch chips, stirring the mixture until all of the sugar and butterscotch chips have completely melted. Next take out a tablespoon, and begin coating the graham cracker pieces with the butterscotch cashew mixture. Next place the cake pan in the oven to heat for five to ten minutes.
