Preparation Instructions:
To begin this recipe you will first need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out a large baking sheet and thoroughly grease it. Moving forward, take out a small mixing bowl and add in the all purpose flour, baking soda, table salt, and organic cinnamon. Stir these initial ingredients until they're evenly mixed. Next take out a second small mixing bowl, add in your white and brown sugar, butter, and vanilla extract, and then whip these ingredients together until you have a light and fluffy cream. Once you're done there, combine the ingredients of both mixing bowls, and then vigorously stir them together. Lastly add in the quick oats and both the chocolate and butterscotch chips. Again vigorously stir the contents until you have a firm cookie dough, and all your ingredients are evenly distributed throughout. Moving on to the baking phase, you can now begin spooning chunks of the cookie dough onto your greased cookie sheet. Once the cookie sheet is full, slide it into the oven to bake for ten minutes, or until the cookies begin to turn golden. Let the cookies cool for five minutes before serving.
